Optima’s CARE – The Center for Animal Research and Excellence
Some partnerships go beyond business — they build trust, inspire learning, and move an entire industry forward. As an Optima customer, I’ve experienced this spirit firsthand. Whether it’s a breakthrough nutritional formulation, a bold trial on disease resilience, or a new approach to animal welfare — the Discovery Research projects undertaken by CARE have been nothing short of thrilling. Each of them are solutions that blend curiosity and practical impact, making a real difference on our farms and for our business.
What truly sets CARE apart are its guiding values — Curiosity , driving innovation through relentless inquiry; Application , turning research into real-world solutions; Respect , honoring the dignity of animals and people; and Excellence , committing to the highest scientific rigor in everything they do. These values create a foundation where science meets deep care.
Every interaction, every collaboration, and every conversation with Optima has reflected not just innovation, but genuine intention — the will to advance animal health and welfare through science.
Today, as Dr. Sudheer Rukadikar opened the doors of CARE — the Center for Animal Research and Excellence — that intention felt more real than ever. CARE isn’t just a facility; it represents a vision coming alive — where research meets compassion, and innovation feels deeply human.
As someone who has witnessed Optima’s journey closely, I can say this with conviction: when purpose meets expertise, transformation isn’t just inevitable — it’s already begun. — Words from one of Optima’s trusted partners.
